Day one: fly to Italy

We caught an afternoon flight to Rome!! I've always wanted to see Rome and was so excited!

That night we found our hostel and then started our 36 hour exploration of Rome. We ate real Italian pizza and I am such a thin crust fan! Italy makes really good pizza.

Making a wish in the Trevi Fountain was so neat. The water rippling over the statues at night is so relaxing. It seemed like hundreds of people were out everywhere on the streets just looking at the monuments. People were everywhere at 10:00 at night. This was so different than Vienna where everything shuts down at 7:00 at the latest.

Oh, and the shoe store we found had works of art displayed in the window. I want, I want, I want!!
